This is a recipe it would be a crime for me to pass off as my own but Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s Smoked Mackerel and Rice is an absolute Cracker! I just had to share it.
There is one variation I use to reduce the amount of washing up – I cook the spring greens with the garlic in a lidded pan. This time I also added some sliced mushrooms and tomato that needed eating up sharpish.
For some reason my children love eating salty fish. The bonus is it’s as cheap as chips!
